Höllentag Spezial was made with one record player, one recorder and a lot of records. Jeff played locked grooves. If the needle is caught in a locked groove it plays only the piece of music or sound that can be captured in a full spin. Jeff Surak lives in Washington DC. He runs the zeromoon label. He is the artistic director of the sonic circuits festival. He is capable of creating the most beautiful sounds you ever heard.
