Not the World News Show with Shephard and Van Alebeek

Theresa May and the Hard Brexit, of course we needed to talk about it, because this directly affects our future. One of Radio On’s founding fathers is Adrian Shephard. And Radio On can’t do without him. I (=Rinus Van Alebeek) asked him what a Hard Brexit would mean for his future, living as an expat in Berlin, which is still in the EC.

Trump and populism couldn’t remain untouched. We imagined the end of the European community. This could happen before the year 2020. What would it mean to the death penalty? Would it come back, but now more glamorous as ever? In the past executions were very popular with the masses. (Populist leaders should reflect on this. The more glamorous the execution of your enemy, the more voters you will attract.)

World News as you never heard it before. Listen in.
